Del 18 al 20 de marzo, Cáritas Ecuador, recibió la visita técnica del personal de la Agencia de los Estados Unidos para el Desarrollo Internacional (USAID). El objetivo fue evaluar y revisar los procesos administrativos financieros de la organización, así como verificar la capacidad que tiene para gestionar los recursos de los futuros proyectos y de los que hoy financia la agencia internacional.
Esta es la segunda visita técnica que realiza la organización estadounidense a Cáritas Ecuador y se da en el marco del proyecto: “Comunidades de Latacunga más seguras y preparadas ante la amenaza del volcán Cotopaxi”, que se ejecuta bajo la coordinación de Cáritas Latacunga. La primera visita se realizó el pasado 25 enero.
El personal de Cáritas Ecuador, a la cabeza del P. Euclides Carrillo, colaboradores del área financiera, de proyectos y comunicación, fueron los encargados de transmitir el trabajo y las acciones que desarrolla Cáritas Ecuador a los técnicos: Regina Jones, especialista Senior en Auditoría de Subvenciones, María Mancano, especialista en auditoría y Christopher Szell, de la Agencia de los Estados Unidos para el Desarrollo Internacional (USAID).
